Hi my friend, and to all at the club!!

I'm getting closer to getting the schooner jn the water.

The hull hell coat is all sanded,  and polished... The lead keel is complete... Decided to go with a black gloss paint.

Today I finally finished the bowsprit... I went through a few different configurations and ended up with this set up.

This week,  standing rigging and sail wench calibration.

My boat will be kept at the San Francisco model yacht club boat house which is right on the lake. So it's been busy here at the bakery boat yard.

Now.... Planning on purchasing two fiberglass hulls.

   1. Newport 12 meter.  An old hull but in solid shape.  I owned one of these when I lived in Houston Texas....

But while I was moving from one house to another,  my garage was broken into and was robbed.   And the boat was taken.

   2. Getting the largest RC sailboat made.... It's a J Class sailboat designed after the Ranger J boat.

It's over 7 feet long... And the mast is close to 8 feet high.  It carries a removable set of lead weights... 56 pounds!!

Well... My wife is asking me..... "oh my god.. Where are you going to put this monster!!!??? " it's all about... Boys and our toys!!!

More soon... My best to everyone... I truly miss Paris!!
